ABOUT

My Story:

My love for fashion started when I was young, when I’d be obsessed with shopping outfits for my Kens and Barbies and begging my mom to take me shopping. But growing up, a career in fashion still felt too far-fetched and unrealistic to take seriously (even though my parents encouraged it!).

At 13, I set my sights on becoming a therapist. I was fascinated by people’s perspectives, enjoyed real conversations, and loved getting to the root of things. My friends would say things like, “you should be a shrink when you grow up!” (ah, the ‘90s). I graduated with my psychology degree in 2004, but by senior year, I knew grad school wasn’t for me. So, I decided to follow my other dream: moving to NYC and diving into fashion.

In 2007, I moved from my home in LA to New York and worked my way up in fashion buying. I went from merchandising assistant to buyer, eventually landing roles at Barneys New York and Net-A-Porter. But by 2015, I felt ready for a change. After years in the luxury sector, I realized I wanted something deeper than the status and image-driven side of high-end fashion. I loved the clothes but was ready to work with people in a way that felt more genuine…more real.

I took a personal styling role as a temporary fix during this transition. It was a sales-driven position and, though I wasn’t a “salesperson,” I gave it my best shot. Within a year, I was in the top 10% of the company. I realized my success came from focusing on clients as people—not sales. My relationships with clients grew strong, and I knew I’d found my calling.

By 2020, I made the leap to become a private stylist. It’s allowed me to bring my love for style and my passion for helping people together, and I haven’t looked back since.

"Personal style is more than just clothes—it tells a story.”

My approach:

Helping people uncover what makes them unique, piece by piece, is the perfect blend of my two lifelong passions: connecting with others on a deeper level and celebrating the transformative power of great style. It’s about more than finding the right outfit; it’s about creating a look that truly reflects who you are.

That’s why honesty and trust are at the heart of my approach. Without them, it’s impossible to achieve meaningful progress. Every client relationship is built on open communication and a shared commitment to discovering their authentic style.

Ultimately, I’m here for those who want more than a well-dressed image. My clients value personal connection, exclusivity, and a discerning eye for quality—and together, we create a style that feels elevated, effortless, and uniquely theirs.

My experience:

My background in psychology provides a strong foundation for my well-rounded approach, effective communication, and ability to connect with a broad range of clients.

With 10 years of experience as a fashion buyer, I’ve developed a discerning eye for product quality, construction, markdown strategy, and online representation.

Since 2015, I’ve worked as a personal stylist, giving me nearly a decade of hands-on experience with private clients. My initial styling training included extensive education and certification in custom clothing, equipping me with a deep understanding of garment construction and proper alterations.

This unique combination of skills allows me to offer a personalized and comprehensive approach to styling!
